Summary of the Partnership
The project involved
an innovative and creative collaboration among 5 partners to promote and to
sustain a strategy whose outcome is to produce a tourist guide in print and to
prepare learners with less employment opportunities to stand better chances to
find employment as local guides.
The European
dimension of the project was visible throughout the blend of cultures,
approaches and new ideas that were issued throughout the 4 project meetings.
Therefore the result was a mixture of different guides ( 5 guides – 5 routes, 1
guide – 5 routes, etc.) and the cultural and historical charge of each outlined
rich potential of every area involved.
The didactic
dimension highlighted the contribution
of the professional staff involved in the project. They were supposed to design
the routes and to put them in print so as to serve as a didactic tool further
on especially within the organizations that deal with adult education and
job-placement directly.
In other cases,
were the students themselves who designed the routes.
The job-training
tool highlighted the use of learners with lower opportunities, offering them a
chance to improve professionally and to get acquainted to other cultures and
socities through such cooperative actions. Using or getting used to a foreign
language was another important result of the project. Both learners and staff
had the opportunity to use or improve their English
